My husband’s rock covers band (Halo) had a gig on Friday evening, so while he got his gear together and waited for his lift I thought I’d just quickly crochet up a bowl. Then, once he’d gone, I found some odd bits of wool that were lurking about, so more bowls were made, then some bag charms, and flowers, and even a snowflake. Before I knew it, it was 1am and thankfully, hubby was home (I do miss him when he’s out gigging).
In the meantime, I managed to start the dog coats. It was 24 degrees in our lounge yesterday and our cat Treacle was absolutely knackered with the heat - she walked in, checked out what I was knitting and flopped onto the floor, so I was rather bemused to find myself knitting dog jackets to keep some pups warm while Treacle sweltered at my feet. Mind you, it won’t stay at 24 degrees for much longer here, and before you know it, it’ll be time to start thinking about scarves and gloves soon. Which is a bit difficult while sitting typing up a blog in a vest top and shorts!
